Auxiliary Engine Exhaust Valve uses 23-8N austenitic stainless steel forgings, and Stellite alloy is welded on the valve disc and valve seat area or Nimonic 80A high-temperature nickel-based materials are used to ensure that the parts can still maintain a yield strength of ≥450MPa in a continuous high temperature environment of 720℃.
Good sealing
The exhaust valve stem is processed using CNC high-precision rolling and super-finishing technology, and the matching clearance is controlled within 0.015mm. With a multi-channel floating seal design, the leakage rate is less than 0.3% under high-pressure gas impact.
Surface hardening treatment
The working surface of the valve is treated by nitriding or surfacing with cemented carbide, and the surface hardness can reach HV850, the friction coefficient is less than 0.18, and the depth of the anti-wear layer is not less than 0.4mm. In the Cummins KTA38 engine exhaust impact test, the wear volume is less than 0.02mm in 1000 hours, which can reduce the risk of opening and closing failure caused by wear.
